Required Qualifications
 
  • Three to five years of related work experience.
  • Demonstrated strong background within business continuity and disaster recovery design, implementation and testing as well as ability and experience to manage end to end business continuity projects.
  • Has an in-depth understanding of Business Continuity Management lifecycle and industry standards.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of current disaster recovery planning techniques and technologies as well as the methods used in performing risk analyses and business impact analyses. 
  • Working knowledge of data processing in order to assist in the preparation of recovery exercises in this area.
  • Working knowledge of various IT systems, data and voice telecommunications in order to assist in the preparation of recovery exercises in this area. 
  • Good project management skills.
  • Ability to plan, organizes, and directs the testing of emergency response, recovery support, and business resumption procedures.
  • Strong human relations skills to interface with managers and staff at all levels within the organization and to deal with vendors of record as required.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)

Responsibilities:
 
Will be responsible for establishing strategies, processes and procedures to assist Business Units and Enterprise Organizational Support units in the deployment of advance arrangements and procedures to ensure the organizations can respond to planned and unplanned events. To ensure that the critical business functions can be resumed within a defined time frame, the amount of loss can be minimized, and any stricken facilities operational business functions can be restored. This responsibility includes providing the business units with consistently repeatable processes that assist the business units in the design, development, maintenance, and exercising (testing) of the overall disaster recovery, business continuity, and business resumption plans for each critical functional area.

Responsibilities:

- Dual business development and service delivery role facing regional clients
- Establish new geographic presence, beyond current practice base in WDC

- Ability to deliver programmatic solutions through all phases of the BC life-cycle
